WHERE CAN THE KIDS GO WHILE YOU SHOP FOR THE HOLIDAYS?

With the holiday shopping season upon us, parents are looking for places where the kids can play while they can get a few hours of shopping done. Below is a list of upcoming Kids' Night Out events from now till Christmas.

Kids' Nite Out at Castle Rock Rec Center
December 4, 11, and 18 from 7:00-10:30 PM
Kids ages 7-14 can be active, have fun, make friends, and win prizes in a safe, supervised environment. Activities may include swimming, dancing, gym games, and more. $15 per child. (Kids Nite Out takes place at several locations in the Denver Metro area, including Centennial and Littleton on Saturdays.)

Home Alone and First Aid at Parker Rec Center
December 5 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
This popular and entertaining workshop is designed to prepare kids ages 10-15 to look after themselves. While they learn some basic first aid and what to do in an emergency, you'll have four hours to yourself. $49 for Parker residents, $55 for non-residents (plus $15 materials fee due at class).

Parents Night Out at Redstone KinderCare in Highlands Ranch
December 11 from 6:30-10:00 PM
Leave your children ages 6 weeks to 12 years with trained licensed and caring teachers to enjoy extra activities and have dinner with friends while you enjoy a worry-free evening. $30 for a single child; $45 for a family of 2 or more.

Movie Night at Lone Tree Rec Center
December 19 from 5:00-9:00 PM
Kids ages 5-12 enjoy pizza and a double feature of Minions and Despicable Me 2 (both rated PG) while being supervised by child care professionals. $15 for SSPRD district members, $20 for non-district members.

Parents' Night Out at Parker Fieldhouse
December 19 from 6:00-10:30 PM
Games, crafts, movies, climbing, skating (must bring your own skates), and more will keep your kids busy! Advance registration is $15 for the first child, $10 for additional children. Registration increases by $5 on the day of the event.
