Today I will share a recipe with you to make “snow” ice cream. That’s right snow! That cold fluffy stuff outside that causes bad road conditions and schools to close can also be used as an everyday treat this winter.

My boys like chocolate ice cream better than vanilla, so we added a spoonful of Ovaltine and they ate it up!

Snow Ice Cream

  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 cups CLEAN snow

Stir together milk, sugar, and vanilla until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add milk mixture to snow and mix for a few minutes. It will look like there isn’t enough milk, but there is.

After a few minutes of mixing, you will have soft vanilla ice cream!
