FUN FOR ALL AT A TASTE OF COLORADO

The 31st annual A Taste of Colorado will take place August 29 through Septeptember 1 in Downtown Denver’s Civic Center Park.
 More than 50 of Colorado’s favorite food establishments will be selling a wide variety of small portions to full meals, ensuring that there will be something for every palate.

The KidZone is a family-friendly area offering play equipment, plus a great variety of free, hands-on craft activities. Kids and adults alike can enjoy carnival rides and games Saturday through Monday, located on Lincoln Street and Colfax Avenue.

There will be plenty of music, magic, clowns, and puppets on the Colorado Access KidzStage. 
Presenting "juggling and crazy movement," Up in the Air with Peter Davison weaves physical theater, dance, and poetry to create a kinetic celebration of life unlike anything you’ve seen before. Mr. Kneel’s Hip Hop for Families is original, informative, and self-esteem-building music that parents can embrace. Top Hogs, The World’s Most Talented Pigs have been featured on "America’s Got Talent" and "The Tonight Show." Jim Jackson presents Clown on a Bike, the tale of how a brand-new bicycle in the hands of a master clown causes hilarious chaos and nothing but trouble. Colorado Access’ Steppin’ with Safe T. Tiger and friends will help teach young Festivalgoers how to stay safe and healthy.


In the Festival of Mountain and Plain area, families can learn about the state’s pioneer past, nature, and the environment. Featured artisans will demonstrate Navajo weaving and culture, spinning, rug braiding, lace crocheting, and felting, along with the popular blacksmith demonstration.

Other attractions located in the center of Civic Center Park include Water Balls (also known as "human hamster balls"), the Eurobungy Trampoline, the Human Gyroscope (also known as the "human gyro ball"), a zip line more than 100 feet long, an inflatable slide, and a ropes obstacle course. A toddler obstacle course can provide interactive fun for the little ones. These attractions require tickets.

  • Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31, 10:30 AM - 10:00 PM
  • Monday, September 1, 10:30 AM - 8:00 PM
