Recipe Box: Sweet & Salty Spring Treats

🌱 A Yummy Snack to Celebrate Spring

I am a fan of the sweet and salty combination, and this treat can't be beat! You only need three ingredients and about ten minutes to make up a big batch that will really satisfy!

Sweet & Salty Spring Treats

Preheat your oven to 200˚F.

Lay out a single layer of pretzels on a baking sheet. Place an unwrapped ROLO candy on the center of each pretzel.

Put the baking sheet in the oven for 2-3 minutes; remove. The ROLO candy should be shiny and soft but still have its shape. 

Working quickly, press an egg-shaped candy into the top of each ROLO until the candy flattens against the pretzel. Let the candy set at room temperature or put the baking sheet in the refrigerator to speed up the process. Or, just starting eating the candy immediately!

We make these treats year-round, adjusting the top candy to fit the holiday or season... red, white, and blue candy for Independence Day, orange pumpkins and candy corn for Halloween, and red and green candy for Christmas!
