Who doesn't love a 4th of July celebration?
If you're anything like me, you LOVE a good theme! The 4th of July is one of the easiest, especially when you are talking food. And, my favorite things to make for celebrations are quick and easy. I've compiled a list of my red, white and blue go-to's!
🇺🇸 Independence Pops
Mix blueberries and strawberries into vanilla greek yogurt. Spoon into a popsicle mold, and freeze for several hours. Enjoy!
🇺🇸 AmeriCupcakes
Make (or buy!) cupcakes, and frost with white frosting. Use red and blue sprinkles to top them off!
🇺🇸 Flag Fruit Tray
Serve strawberries and blueberries with the easiest fruit dip you'll ever make - 8 oz. cream cheese blended with 15 ounces of marshmallow cream. Get creative with your display!
🇺🇸 Sparkler Kabobs
Alternate blueberries, strawberries and bananas (or marshmallows!) on a skewer to create Sparkler Kabobs!
🇺🇸 Watermelon Stars
You guessed it...using a star cookie cutter, theme out your watermelon!
🇺🇸 Patriotic Pretzels
Dip pretzel rods in white chocolate, and decorate with blue and red sugar crystals.
🇺🇸 Firecracker Ice Cream Sandwiches
Dip the ice cream edges of the sandwich in blue and red sugar or sprinkles (you could even find those cute candy stars!). Just eat them fast before they melt.
🇺🇸 Frozen Fireworks
Place strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries in an ice cube tray. Cover with water or juice and freeze for a fun treat for your drink!
🇺🇸 Patriot Popcorn
Drizzle popcorn with red, white, and blue Meltaways (find them at Michael's!) on a cookie sheet. Once hardened, place in a bowl.
🇺🇸 Freedom Treats
This trick will work with all kinds of baked treats, from cookies to rice krispie treats! Take advantage of the patriotic holiday M & M's, and add them to the the recipe. Voila!
However you choose to celebrate, we hope that your day is delicious!
