Denver’s Ultimate Halloween Event Returns for 19th Season of Scares

The scares extend to every corner of the property at The 13th Floor

September 11, 2026

Denver’s legendary 13th Floor Haunted House returns for its 19th season. Recognized as one of the nation’s premier haunted attractions, this year promises more screams, more scares, and more fun than ever before.

The Stitchworks: House of Reanimation

This year’s haunting experience begins inside The Stitchworks: House of Reanimation, where a brilliant scientist known as The Pharmacist has abandoned all limits in his pursuit of perfection. Deep within his laboratory, human remains and animal carcasses are stitched together, reanimated, and rebuilt with brutal mechanical enhancements. Guests will make their way past grotesque creations, each more twisted than the last, as The Pharmacist continues his relentless search for the perfect specimen. His masterpiece remains unfinished, and those who enter may be exactly what he has been looking for.

Cathedral of the Crimson Queen

The fright continues inside Cathedral of the Crimson Queen, where Sister Agony’s attempt to purge corruption from her cathedral has gone terribly wrong. Armed with a forbidden text, she performed a ritual meant to bring justice to those who had poisoned the congregation, but instead unleashed the Crimson Queen. Now, the cathedral belongs to its new ruler, the congregation has become her devoted servants, and Sister Agony remains trapped inside the horror she created. Redemption is no longer possible. Only devotion.

Jason Universe: Survive the Night

For the first time at 13th Floor Denver, one of horror’s most iconic slashers is joining the scares with the all-new, officially licensed Jason Universe: Survive the Night. Jason Voorhees, the masked killer who has terrified generations of horror fans, is real in this immersive Friday the 13th experience, and tonight, he’s hunting you. Guests will move through Jason’s world knowing he could be waiting around any corner. Run, hide, or try to outsmart him, but Jason always seems to be one step ahead. The only goal is to make it to morning in Jason Universe: Survive the Night.

Jason Universe: Director’s Cut

Guests can take the experience even further with Jason Universe: Director’s Cut, an interactive add-on that puts Jason’s next move in their hands. Inside a rustic camp utility cabin, a counselor leads the group to a control station featuring four choices: Panic. Slash. Strike. Stalk. Each button triggers a different way for Jason to strike, allowing guests to direct what happens next to someone still making their way through his world. For a moment, guests get the director’s chair. Jason gets the rest of the night.

Beyond the main attractions

Beyond the main attractions, the 13th Floor midway offers a host of thrilling add-ons designed to keep the adrenaline pumping all night long.

Guests can race against the clock in Mini Escape Games, test their aim with 5 for $5 Axe Throwing, brave No Name’s Clown Chaos, or sip a personalized cocktail revealed by a mystical tiki totem at The Sacred Skull: A Tiki Tarot Bar.

For those seeking an elevated experience, RIP Cabanas offer a private themed retreat for groups looking to take a break from the scares before heading back into the action. Hidden throughout the experience, guests can also discover secret bars including Spot Shot Arcade Secret Bar and The Attic Secret Bar, where specialty drinks and a little liquid courage await.

The scares extend to every corner of the property with Respawn Passes for another trip through the attractions and a Bar Combo Pack offering access to all three bar experiences at a discounted rate. The Shriekeasy returns with an expanded area, while food trucks and bar carts throughout the event will keep guests fueled for the night ahead.

“I couldn’t be more excited to welcome guests back to 13th Floor Denver for the 2026 season,” said General Manager Bryan Kopp. “This year brings completely new worlds and characters to our attractions, but having Jason Voorhees join us through Jason Universe: Survive the Night takes the experience to another level. Horror fans know Jason, but there is something completely different about coming face-to-face with him inside an immersive attraction. Between Jason Universe, our new haunted house themes, and everything happening throughout the midway, there is more for guests to experience than ever before.”
