School of Rock Highlands Ranch offers high-energy, performance-based summer music camps for kids and teens of all experience levels. Our camps are designed to build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and real musical skills in a fun, supportive environment. At School of Rock, students learn music by playing music. Campers receive hands-on instruction from experienced, passionate instructors while rehearsing with peers in a band setting. Through a mix of group rehearsals, music games, skill-building activities, and collaboration, students develop musicianship while forming friendships and gaining confidence both on and off the stage. We welcome complete beginners through more experienced young musicians. Campers can explore guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, or vocals, and are guided at a pace appropriate to their age and ability. Our inclusive environment encourages self-expression and helps students feel comfortable trying something new.
SUMMER CAMP OPTIONS INCLUDE:
Rookies Camp (Ages 6–7)
A playful introduction to music fundamentals such as rhythm, timing, and teamwork using games and instrument exploration.
Rock 101 Camp (Ages 8–13)
Perfect for beginners ready to play in a band. No prior experience required.
Themed Music Camps (Ages 8–17)
Week-long camps centered around popular rock and music themes, helping students connect musical skills to songs they love. Themes vary by session.
Each camp culminates in a live performance at the end of the week, giving students the exciting experience of performing on stage for family and friends. These showcases are a highlight for campers and a proud moment for families. School of Rock Highlands Ranch summer camps are a great way for students to try music for the first time, grow existing skills, or discover a new passion. Many students continue into our year-round programs, but camps are also an amazing stand-alone summer experience.
