Camp Telaphiba is an overnight summer dance camp experience welcoming girls and boys ages 7–18 to Snow Mountain Ranch for an unforgettable, growth-focused experience. For more than 10 years, Camp Telaphiba has combined high-quality dance training for all levels with outdoor adventure, meaningful connection, and personal development in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Each day, campers take 4–6 dance classes taught by expert instructors from across the country. Dance styles include jazz, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, tap, musical theater, and improv. Campers receive both technique and combination classes in each style and are placed in age- and level-appropriate groups to ensure confidence, challenge, and success.
In addition to classes, campers collaborate in small dance crews to choreograph original routines. While instructors guide and mentor, campers are encouraged to take ownership of the creative process, building leadership, teamwork, and confidence. Each evening, campers may also perform favorite routines from home in a relaxed, supportive setting. The camp experience culminates in our beloved Night Under the Stars Showcase, where campers perform what they’ve learned and created throughout the week. Family and friends are invited to attend in person, and recordings are shared after camp for those unable to travel.
Camp Telaphiba offers much more than dance. Campers enjoy swimming, hiking, outdoor games, bonfires with s’mores, and daily life-development workshops focused on confidence, communication, and positive community impact. These sessions are woven naturally into camp life and help campers grow both as dancers and as people.

ACCOMODATIONS
Campers remain active throughout the day and are provided with:
- Three well-balanced meals daily, including options for picky eaters and accommodations for food allergies
- All allergens are clearly labeled, and dietary needs are handled with care
- Campers stay in comfortable, safe lodging with same-age roommates (up to five per room)
- Bunk beds
- Private bathrooms inside each room.
- Bedding and towels are provided.
- Counselors and staff stay nearby in clearly marked rooms
- Support is available 24/7
