One of our favorite summer traditions? Hitting up local farmers markets for fresh, flavorful produce! The fruits and veggies are picked at peak ripeness, often just a day or two before market day, so they taste amazing. Plus, you get to chat with the farmers themselves, learn how everything is grown, and even score a few tips for cooking it all up at home. Shopping local does more than fill your fridge, it supports our community!
Pro Tip: Wear comfy shoes, bring reusable bags, water, sunscreen and CASH. Some vendors are cash-only!
