Does your family ever wake on a Saturday morning wondering, "What should we do today?" If so, perhaps it's time to create a FAMLY FUN JAR to inspire you! The concept is simple ... write down as many family-friendly activities as you can and add them to a jar. Here are some to get you started:
- Bowling
- Redbox Movie day
- Miniature golf
- Swimming pool (during the winter, we'll head to the Castle Rock or Lone Tree Recreation Centers)
- A hike at Castlewood Canyon
- Lunch at a fast food play place (we prefer Chick Fil-A)
- Picnic at the park (or in our living room if there's too much snow)
- Roller skating at Skate City (or try Skyline Park if you prefer ice skating)
- Board games in the family room (each person gets to choose their favorite)
- Computer games at the library (be sure to pick up some books on your way out)
- A trip to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo or Denver Museum of Nature and Science (we have memberships to both places)
- Check the Macaroni Kid calendar to see what's going on today!
