Craft Corner: A "Handy" Menorah

🕎 Cute craft to celebrate Hanukkah

By Kim McNeill, Southbury, CT Publisher December 5, 2012

This is a simple craft for children to celebrate Hanukkah.

What You Need:

  • White paper
  • Orange or yellow paint and a contrasting color
  • Glitter glue
  • Construction paper (optional)

What You Do:

  1. Paint the child's finger tips on one hand with yellow or orange paint.
  2. Use the other color of paint to cover the rest of the fingers and palm.
  3. Press the child's hands open onto a white piece of paper.
  4. Repeat with the other hand. If the thumb prints overlap it will look more like a menorah.
  5. Use glitter glue to draw a stand for the menorah.
  6. If you'd like, glue the white paper onto a piece of construction paper.
