Recipe Box: Crunch Time Doritos® Bake

This has become an all-time favorite football recipe in our family! Everything that you could want in chips and dip is involved! Watch your Crunch Time Doritos® Bake disappear before halftime, and revel in the cheers of your fans!

Crunch Time Doritos® Bake

  • 2 bags (11 oz each) Doritos®
  • 8-ounce Mexican-blend cheese, shredded
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar salsa (use your favorite brand, as much as you desire)
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) refried beans
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) Ranch-Style Beans
  • 1 jar of queso
  • Sour cream, diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, jalapeños, and black olives (optional)

Preheat oven to 300˚F. Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain grease. Add salsa, both types of beans, and queso. Stir till heated through.

Put a layer of Doritos® on the bottom of a large casserole dish. Top with half of your meat mixture and half of the shredded cheese. Add another layer of chips, followed by the rest of the meat mixture.

Bake 25-30 minutes. Add remaining shredded cheese, and continue baking for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with sour cream, diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, jalapeños, and black olives. The Crunch Time Doritos® Bake will have soft areas, so serve with chips to scoop it up!
