By Christel M. Hoydic May 20, 2015

Refreshing, cool, and sweet, these Patriotic Ice Pops are sure to be a hit at your summer celebrations … or any day! Fun to make, fun to eat, and only three ingredients needed!

Patriotic Ice Pops

  • Cranberry, cherry, or pomegranate juice
  • Lemonade
  • Blue sports drink

You'll also need plastic molds or paper cups and wooden sticks. The small Dixie® cups are the perfect size for these pops.

Starting with the red juice, fill each cup or mold one-third full. Place in the freezer for about one hour.

Remove from the freezer and put the wooden sticks in place. Then fill another third of the cup with lemonade.

Refreeze for another hour and then fill the rest of the cup with the blue drink. Return the cups to the freezer one last time, until they are completely frozen.

Once frozen, the paper cups will easily peel away from your ice pops and they are ready to enjoy!
