Although no one seems to know the exact origin of the s'more, everyone agrees that it is a popular summer treat for backyard picnics, campouts, and beach gatherings.

In fact, the treat of chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmallows continues to be recreated in versions that delight dessert lovers of all ages. This version combines all the traditional flavors of the s'more, gives everyone the opportunity to add in a few more favorites, and keeps the treat contained in an easy-to-eat package!

Campfire S'more Cones

  • Waffle or Sugar Cones (we like waffle cones — they are a little bigger)
  • Mini Marshmallows
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Any other food items you'd like to stuff into the cones (peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips, nuts, and banana slices are some of our favorites)

Set out the ingredients and let everyone fill their cone by layering with their favorite items. Wrap the filled cone with foil and heat on agrill or over a campfire for 5-10 minutes, turning several times. Carefully pull back the foil and enjoy the s’mores yumminess in an easy-to-eat cone!
