This Pine Cone Turkey is fun to make with your kids. Make several and use them as decorations on the buffet or as place card holders at the table.

What You Need:

  • Pine cones
  • Googly eyes
  • Black felt
  • Yellow felt
  • Red felt
  • Chenille stems in red, green, yellow, orange, and/or brown
  • Glue

What You Do:

  1. Lightly file the sharp ends of the cone.
  2. Cut a round circle in the black felt for a face.
  3. Glue it onto flat end of the pine cone.
  4. Cut a triangle in the yellow felt for the beak.
  5. Cut a waddle out of the red felt.
  6. Glue the beak, wattle, and eyes to the face.
  7. Bend 6-8 pipe cleaners into loops. Twist all together at the bottom to form the feathers/tails. Secure tail to the pine cone with glue.
