Guests can purchase a wristband for $2 (cash only), giving them access to all the frozen treats they can eat. All proceeds from the event benefit Shop with a Cop, a Douglas County Sheriff's Office program that provides holiday gifts for local kids in need.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office will recognize National Night Out in Highlands Ranch that evening, bringing patrol vehicles, K-9, mounted patrol, a SWAT truck, and more. South Metro Fire Rescue will have engines on display.

In addition, the Highlands Ranch Concert Band and Swing Shift Band will perform. There will also be a variety of vendor booths to visit and food trucks on-site with an assortment of dinner options.

DID YOU KNOW? This annual event first occurred on July 16, 1998, to dedicate the new Fire Station #18 in Highlands Ranch. The dedication ceremony included a community ice cream social!

A special thank you to event sponsors Walmart and Highlands Ranch Orthodontics for providing the ice cream treats and snow cones.

Civic Green Park is at 9370 Ridgeline Blvd., near the Highlands Ranch library. The RTD Park-n-Ride lot nearby offers free event parking.
