By Jamie Twaragowski September 6, 2016

Celebrating the start of a new football season? Everyone at your Party will need Spirit Sticks! These are so simple to make, you can knock plenty out in NO TIME! A perfect activity to keep the kids busy while waiting for the Big Game to start.

What You Need:

  • Plastic table cloths in your favorite team colors
  • Craft sticks/chenille stems
  • Straws
  • Duct Tape
  • Scissors

What You Do:

1.) Cut the tablecloths into 1" strips. (I use a rotary blade, but scissors will work just fine.)

2.) Place a handful of strips in the center of a pipe cleaner. Twist until nice and tight.

3.) Cut your straws in half.

4.) Put the chenille stem inside your straw, pull from the opposite end, and twist over the end to secure.

5.) Wrap the straw and exposed stem with duct tape and there you have your Spirit Stick!

Now your Cheerleaders can cheer your team on to V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!
