🍂 Yummy Dessert for Autumn (or Any Time of Year!)

By Barbara Evangelista September 13, 2016

The best recipes always seem to come from Grandma! This has been a favorite of mine since I was a child.

Preparation time is just 5-10 minutes and it creates a wonderful smell in your home while baking. It's delicious with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream and would also be wonderful made with ripe Palisade peaches, bananas, or blueberries.

Grandma's Apple Pudding

  • 1 egg, well-beaten
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chopped apples (1 medium to large apple should be enough)
  • ½ cup nuts (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Mix dry ingredients. Stir in egg then fold in apples and nuts. Bake in a greased dish about 40 minutes at 350℉.
