Your Mini Macaroni will be the cutest little centerpiece in this easy to make shirt... no sewing required!
What You Need:
- Brown, tan, or cream-colored t-shirt or onesie (check your local craft store)
- Various colors of felt (white, green, red, orange, yellow, black)
- Fabric glue
- Scissors
- Optional items: two small black buttons, needle, thread, ribbon for bow
What You Do:
- Cut two small circles out of the white felt for the turkeys eyes.
- Cut a triangle out of the orange felt and a wattle from the red felt.
- For the eyes, you can either use black felt for the eyes or use buttons as I did.
- Arrange your turkey's face onto the front of the shirt, then glue down your pieces.
- Use four pieces of different colored felt for the feathers ... Fold each piece separately (like a hotdog bun) and cut a rounded edge from bottom to top.
- Overlay and fan out the feathers on the back of the shirt and begin to glue down once you have arranged them to your liking.
NOTE: This shirt will probably not hold up in the wash, but your little one will surely outgrow it by next Thanksgiving anyway. Bring on the sweet potatoes!
