Storied Birthday Parties Happen at Douglas County Libraries

July 17, 2019

Douglas County Libraries offers playful birthday parties that incorporate the love of stories and discovery for kids ages 2-12 years old in three fun themes: Once Upon a Time, Folklore and Fantasy, and Things That Roar.

Simply choose the library location for your party — Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Parker, or Roxborough — and the professional event planners at Douglas County Libraries will handle the party planning and legwork for you.

The epic adventures, roaring good times, and magical stories kids experience every day through the library’s extensive collection of kids’ books and DVDs and interactive Storytimes can be a memorable part of their birthday party experiences. And dress-up is encouraged!

All themed birthday party packages include:

  • Stress-free planning and on-site coordination
  • Custom invitations that you may email to guests and thank-you notes for use after the party
  • Party decor
  • Party setup and cleanup
  • Age-appropriate activities, including crafts and Storytimes
  • Goody bags for guests, including age-appropriate toys and snacks
  • Birthday lollipop bouquet
  • Gift book for the birthday girl or boy

Take the stress out of planning your child’s birthday party by letting Douglas County Libraries do it for you! Birthday parties are offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:30–4:30 PM and cost $195 for up to 12 children (including the birthday girl/boy).
