Do you have a little chef in your house? You know the child who is always in the kitchen making something wonderful or the one who helps you create an awesome dessert. Does your child have a favorite dish they have perfected? Do you have a young chef who cooks up a storm? Do you have a “Master Chef Jr.” in your household?
If you do, then this is definitely for them. Macaroni Kid is creating a cookbook featuring dishes made by Macaroni Kids!
How it Works:
You must be subscribed to a Macaroni Kid newsletter to participate. So go ahead and subscribe in the box at the top. We have over 500 editions, so just pick one or two that best suit you.
Submit your young chef’s recipe HERE. The recipe deadline is Friday, July 15th. Once you have submitted the recipe, you must email a picture of your Young Chef and his/her finished dish to the email address on the submission form. If your recipe is chosen for the cookbook, you will be notified by email from the cookbook committee. That golden email will come from Cookbook@MacaroniKid.com.
Recipes must fall into one of three categories: Appetizers, Entrees, or Desserts. Help your child give the recipe a jazzy name which represents the dish and the child… like Jane’s Jambalaya or Jack’s Jerk Chicken — get really creative and have FUN!
Chosen recipes and Young Chefs will get a shout-out by their local Macaroni Kid publisher in a special article announcing the MACARONI KID Kid’s Cookbook.
