Recipe Box: Halloween Marshmallow Pops

🎃 Yummy Treat for Halloween

By Megan Barnes October 18, 2017
Can a Halloween treat be a little bit ghoulish AND a little bit cute? Of course it can!

Halloween Marshmallow Pops
  • Candy Melts & Food Coloring (or colored melting chocolate)
  • Lollipop Sticks
  • Large Marshmallows
  • Thin Chocolate Cookies
  • Chocolate Kisses
  • Chocolate Sprinkles
  • Food Markers
Melt the chocolate according to package directions; stir in food coloring to make your desired color.

Push a lollipop stick into a marshmallow, without going all the way through the marshmallow. Dip the marshmallow into the chocolate and gently tap extra chocolate off. Set aside until the chocolate is tacky, but not hardened.

For the witch hats: Dip a kiss into the chocolate and place it on a cookie. Once the chocolate is dry, place the hats onto the marshmallows and set aside to harden.

For Frankenstein's monsters: Dip the top of the head into the sprinkles and set aside to harden. Once completely assembled, place pops into the fridge to harden the chocolate.

Once the chocolate is hardened, you can use the food coloring marker to draw faces on the pops.
