Register By November 8 for Dumb Friends League Junior Volunteer Club

November 1, 2017

Do you have a kid who’s crazy for cats? Passionate about pups? The Dumb Friends League Junior Volunteer Club is a fun and educational opportunity for your compassionate child to get hands-on experience with cats and dogs, all while helping homeless pets in need.

This five-month club introduces children ages 12-15 to the benefits of volunteering in an animal shelter. Students work alongside adult volunteers for two hours each month, cleaning animal enclosures and socializing and working with cats, dogs, and small mammals.

This incredible volunteer opportunity teaches children and young adults the importance of treating animals in a humane way — a lesson that will benefit them and the animals in our community for a lifetime.

Registration for our November Junior Volunteer Club is open now and will close on Wednesday, Nov. 8. This popular and fun opportunity fills up fast, so visit ddfl.org/youth-volunteer today to learn more and sign your child up!
