Macaroni Teen: College Scholarships for Colorado Residents

It's no secret that higher level education costs a pretty penny, so what is your teen doing to prepare for the rising prices of tuition, room & board, and beyond?

Applying for scholarships can help alleviate your family's financial burden. For our local students, there are many scholarships just for Colorado residents.

Other Scholarship Opportunities for Colorado Residents:
  • Ab Irvine Scholarship Program: CO students who plan to work with children who have special needs. Minimum 3.0 GPA required to apply.
  • Boettcher Foundation Scholarship: CO residents (during junior and senior year of high school) who attend an institution in Colorado are eligible. Minimum combined SAT score of 1200 or a composite ACT score of 27 required to apply.
  • College Art Scholarship: Student must be a graduating senior from an Arapahoe County high school or a resident of Greenwood Village, Colorado. The applicant must also plan to enroll as a full-time student majoring in performing, visual, or literary arts.
  • Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF): Students who have graduated from Denver Public Schools are eligible to apply.
  • Intermountain Rural Electric Association (IREA): Current IREA customers are eligible to apply for a grant with no academic or need requirements. Recipients are chosen by lottery.
