At Stone Canyon Outdoor EdVentures, we believe that kids are meant to play outside and that friendships are built around a campfire. We believe that s’mores are a food group, and students should step outside their comfort zones.
We believe that adventure is waiting around every corner, and summer is a time when kids can grow into confident and daring individuals.
Stone Canyon transforms how kids experience summer break! We offer day camp for ages 6-8 and overnight camp for ages 9-15.
Stone Canyon Summer Day Camp (Ages 6-9) |
We foster an environment where campers can immerse themselves in their curiosity, develop friendships, and discover new skills. With a combination of structured activities and free time to explore, campers will make memories to last a lifetime!
Each day campers will get an opportunity to explore our 99-acre property by hiking through the woods, examining critters in our creek, and getting up close and personal with nature. With the guidance of our staff, campers will unplug from technology and plug into the natural environment.
Stone Canyon offers over 20 activities crafted and designed to get campers outside and PLAY! Play encourages kids to test their limits, be social, and have fun.
WHO: Boys and girls ages 6-9 years old
SESSION DATES: July 5-7 and July 24-26
COST: $275 per three-day camp, with lunch and snacks included ($125 deposit required)
NOTE: Stone Canyon is working to offer round-trip transportation with drop-off and pick-up at Douglas County High School in Castle Rock but has not confirmed Transportation at this time.
Stone Canyon Overnight Camp (Ages 9-15) |
Our co-ed week-long overnight camp creates an environment where campers can make friends, learn new skills, and build self-confidence. Through dedicated staff and a well-crafted program, we aim to provide each camper with an unforgettable experience.
With over 30 daily activities to choose from, kids can build on an existing skill or step outside their comfort zones to try something new. All campers will have the opportunity to participate in adventure activities (high ropes, zip line, archery), sports (soccer, ultimate Frisbee, basketball), creative arts (crafts, tie-dye, painting, acting/improv), and so much more!
Our campers will also spend part of their day developing the skills for Leadership, Empathy, Attitude, and Determination (L.E.A.D.) to be a positive influence in their families and communities.

SESSION DATES: June 11-17, June 18-24, June 25-July 1, July 9-15, and July 16-22
COST: $1175 includes all meals and activities ($350 deposit required)
