Glass (Comic-Book Thriller | PG-13) M. Night Shyamalan brings together the narratives of two of his standout originals —2000’s Unbreakable and 2016’s Split — in one explosive thriller. Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn as does Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price (AKA Mr. Glass). Dunn uses his supernatural abilities to pursue The Beast, a disturbed man with 24 personalities. (January 18)
The Kid Who Would Be King (Adventure | PG) Live the legend of King Arthur like never before! A noble young teen named Alexander and his friends become real-life Knights of the Round Table to stop a dark sorcerer from taking over the world.

The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part (Animated Adventure Comedy | PG) The much-anticipated sequel to the critically-acclaimed, global box office phenomenon reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. Reprising their roles from the first film are Chris Pratt as Emmet, Elizabeth Banks as Lucy (aka Wyldstyle), Will Arnett as LEGO BatmanTM, Nick Offerman as Metal Beard, and Alison Brie as Unikitty. They are joined by Tiffany Haddish, Stephanie Beatriz, and Arturo Castro as, respectively, new characters Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi, Sweet Mayhem, and Ice Cream Cone. (February 8)
What Men Want (Comedy | TBD) Ali Davis is a sports agent who can't seem to move her career forward in a "boys' club" industry ... until she gains an advantage when she develops the ability to hear the thoughts of all the men in her life. Taraji P. Hanson stars in this gender-flipped remake of the 2000 comedy. (February 8)
Isn't It Romantic? (Comedy | PG-13) A young woman (Rebel Wilson) disenchanted with love suddenly and mysteriously finds herself trapped inside a romantic comedy. (February 13
Alita: Battle Angel (Sci-Fi Adventure • TBD) James Cameron (Avatar) and Robert Rodriguez (Sin City) create a groundbreaking new heroine in an action-packed story of hope, love, and empowerment set several centuries into the future. Alita is a girl, and also the most advanced weapon ever created. Although the special effects are sure to be mind blowing, the not-quite-human-not-quite-robot leading character kind of creeps me out. (February 14)
How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (Animated Adventure | PG) In the final chapter of the popular animated trilogy, Hiccup and Toothless will finally discover their true destinies as leaders of their own kinds. As they rise, the darkest threat they've yet faced will test the bonds of their friendship like never before. Plus, Toothless gets a girlfriend! We can not wait! (February 22)

Captain Marvel (Superhero Action | PG-13) Following DC's huge Wonder Woman success, the first Marvel movie to star a solo female superhero hits the big screen this spring! Although she has no recollection of it, Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) was fused with alien DNA after an accident, which grants her superhuman strength. The film is set in the '90s, so expect a heaping does of nostalgia ... RIP Blockbuster! (March 8)
Wonder Park (Animated Adventure Comedy | PG) A magnificent amusement park comes alive from the imagination of a wildly creative girl named June (Brianna Denski). The incredible cast also includes the voices of Jennifer Garner, Matthew Broderick, John Oliver, Mila Kunis, Kenan Thompson, and Ken Jeong. (March 15)
Dumbo (Fantasy | TBD) Visionary director Tim Burton brings Disney's beloved classic story to life in a grand live-action adventure where differences are celebrated, family is cherished, and dreams take flight.! The cast includes Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito, and Michal Keaton. (March 29)

The Best of Enemies (Biographical Drama | PG-13) Based on the true story of civil rights activist Ann Atwater (Taraji P. Henson), Exalted Cyclops of the Ku Klux Klan C.P. Ellis (Sam Rockwell), and their battle over school integration in 1971 Durham, North Carolina. (April 5)
Pet Sematary (Horror | TBD) "Sometimes dead is better." Based on the terrifying novel by Stephen King about beloved pets who return from the dead. It's either going to be truly horrifying ... or truly cheesy. (April 5)
Shazam (Super Hero Action-Adventure | TBD) We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult super hero Shazam, courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart, Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! (April 5)
Missing Link (Animated Comedy | PG) Meet Mr. Link: 8 feet tall, 630 pounds, and covered in fur, but ... he is funny, sweet, and adorably literal, making him the world’s most lovable legend. Tired of living a solitary life in the Pacific Northwest, Mr. Link recruits fearless explorer Sir Lionel Frost and adventurer Adelina Fortnight on a quest to find his long-lost relatives in the fabled valley of Shangri-La. The three discover that sometimes you can find a family in the places you least expect. (April 12)
Disneynature's Penguins (Documentary | G) In time for Earth Day 2019 comes a new Disneynature story from the filmmaking team behind Chimpanzee (2012) and Bears (2014). Meet Steve, an Adélie penguin on a quest to build a nest, meet a partner, and start a family ... all while being targeted by everything from killer whales to leopard seals. (April 17)
Avengers: Endgame (Superhero Action | TBD) We've been waiting for this since April of last year, when Infinity War ended in heartbreak and more questions than answers. Internet theories abound while Marvel keeps the plot largely under wraps. We will be first in line in the hopes that heroes can be saved. We are also preparing to say a permanent goodbye to some of our favorites. (April 26)

UglyDolls (Animated Comedy | TBD) In Uglyville, weird is celebrated and strange is special. When they discover the Institue of Perfection, the UglyDolls must face what it means to be different and learn that it is who you truly are that matters. (May 3)
The Hustle (Comedy • PG-13) This remake of the '80s classic comedy, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, stars two of my personal favorites — Anny Hathaway and Rebel Wilson — as con artists, each targeting a tech billionaire. The winner gets the money and the loser has to leave town. (May 10)
Pokémon Detective Pikachu (Adventure | TBD) In this live-action version of the worldwide phenomenon where people collect Pokémon to do battle, a young teen with a chip on his shoulder comes across an intelligent Pikachu — voiced by Ryan Reynolds — who longs to become a detective. From Deadpool to Pokémon to hilarious Twitter banter ... Reynolds has some serious RANGE! Still, it's going to take a lot of wine to convince me to go see this one. (May 10)
Rocketman (Drama | TBD) Part biography, part fantasy, Rocketman explores the story of Sir Elton John (Taron Egerton) and his breakthrough years in an epic musical , starring Taron Egerton, Jamie Bell, Richard Madden and Bryce Dallas Howard. (May 17)
The Sun is Also a Star (Drama | PG-13) Based on the acclaimed bestseller by Everything, Everything author Nicola Yoon. On the New York Times bestseller list since its release, The Sun Is Also a Star has received numerous accolades, including: 2016 National Book Award Finalist; Amazon’s Best Book of 2016 in YA; Amazon’s Top 20 Children’s Books of 2016 in YA; the New York Times Notable Children’s Books of 2016; and Entertainment Weekly’s 10 Best Books of 2016. Let's hope the movie can live up to the reputation. (May 17)
Aladdin (Adventure | TBD) This thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of Disney's animated classic tells the tale of the charming "street rat" Aladdin, the courageous and determined Princess Jamsmine, and the larger-than-life Genie (Will Smith) who may be the key to their future. (May 24)
Godzilla: King of the Monsters (Action-Adventure | PG-13) Following the global success of Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic MonsterVerse: an epic action adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. (May 31)

Dark Phoenix (Sci-Fi Adventure | TBD) The X-Men face their most formidable and powerful foe: one of their own. After Jean Gray (Sophie Turner) is hit by a mysterious cosmic force, she develops incredible powers that corrupt her and turn her into a Dark Phoenix. The X-Men must decide whether to save her ... or fight her. (June 7)
The Secret Life of Pets 2 (Animated Comedy | TBD) The sequel to 2016’s blockbuster about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day will see the return of writer Brian Lynch (Minions) and director Chris Renaud (Despicable Me series, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax). Like the first one, it really is the cast that makes me want to see it: Dana Carvey, Harrison Ford, Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, Lake Bell, Nick Kroll, Bobby Moynihan, Patton Oswalt, and Tara Strong ... just to name a few! (June 7)
Toy Story 4 (Animated Comedy | TBD) Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie are back in the first Toy Story movie in nearly a decade! Take a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends to discover how big the world can be for a toy. (June 21)

Spider-Man: Far From Home (Super Hero Action | TBD) Tom Holland returns as the geeky teen-turned-superhero, this time facing off against Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). Zendaya will appear as Mary Jane. But alas, rumor has it that Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) will NOT be making an appearance in this film. (July 5)
The Lion King (Action-Adventure | TBD) One of my favorite stories of all-time is now a live-action feature film, and it looks simply gorgeous! James Earl Jones returns as the voice of Mufasa, and the rest of the cast is just as perfect, from Seth Rogen as Pumbaa to John Oliver as Zazu. Just thinking about seeing this movie makes me smile! (July 19)
August
The New Mutants (Sci-Fi | TBD) The next generation of X-Men will introduce a veritable cornucopia of new characters played by actors from popular shows, including Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why), and Anya Taylor-Joy (Split). We are a house full of Marvel fans, but have never been able to get into the X-MEN ... they seem as dark as DC Comics. This one looks especially jarring. (August 2)
Artemis Fowl (Sci-Fi Adventure | PG) Based on the book by New York Times best-selling author Eoin Colf, Artemis Fowl is the young and wealthy descendent of criminal masterminds who will do anything to find his missing father. In the process, he and his Butler discover an ancient, underground world of fairies, and Artemis Fowl concots a plan to kidnap the Fairy LEPreco Officer Holly Short. I've never read the books but I am so intrigues by the trailer! (August 9)
The Angry Birds Movie 2 (Animated Comedy | TBD) Not much is known about this sequel to the 2016 film but it is starring comedic geniuses like Peter Dinklage, Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, and Rachel Bloom. (August 16)

It: Chapter 2 (Horror | TBD) Pennywise returns. Not much else is known about this sequel but Stephen King fans don't actually need anything more than that. They've been waiting for this! (September 6)
Spies in Disguise (Animated Action-Adventure | TBD) Agent Sterling (Will Smith), the world's best spy, is accidentally turned into a pigeon by his nerdy tech officer (Tom Holland). But that doesn't mean he can't still save the world. (September 13)
Downton Abbey (Drama | TBD) The plot is still unknown, but that won't prevent the eager anticipation by fans of the popular British TV show. Over its six seasons, the series garnered three Golden Globe Awards, 15 Primetime Emmy Awards, and 69 Emmy nominations in total, making Downton Abbey the most nominated non-US television show in the history of the Emmys. (September 20)
The Kitchen (Action | TBD) When their mobster husbands are sent to prison, three 1978 Hell's Kitchen housewives (Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, and Elisabeth Moss) must take the Irish mafia into their own hands. (September 20)

Gemini Man (Sci-Fi Action | TBD) Will Smith has been busy! This time he plays an over-the-hill hitman facing a younger clone of himself. (October 4)
Joker (Super Hero Thriller | TBD) It's a stand-alone origin story of a failed comedian who goes insane and becomes a psychopathic murderer. Produced by Martin Scorsese and starring Joaguin Phoenix, Robert DeNiro, and Zazie Beetz, fans are already getting excited. (October 4)
The Addams Family (Animated Comedy | TBD) An animated version of the strange, ghoulish family. (October 18)
Zombieland 2 (Horror-Comedy | TBD) Finally! A sequel to the hilarious cult classic about four strangers — Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), Wichita (Emma Stone), and Littlet Rock (Abigail Breslin) — who must stick together to survive a post-apocalyptic zombie outbreak. (October 11)
November
Arctic Justice (Animated Comedy | TBD) Swifty the Arctic fox (Jeremy Renner) works in the mail room but dreams of becoming a Top Dog. When he steals a sled to deliver a package to a mysterious location, he comes face-to-face with Otto Von Walrus (John Cleese), a blubbery evil genius who wants to take over the world. (November 1)
Charlie's Angels (Comedy | TBD) Not much is known yet about this reboot based on the '70s TV series. Directed by and starring Elizabeth Banks alongside Naomi Scott and Kristen Stewart. (November 1)
Kingsman 3 (Action-Comedy | TBD) The third installment of the Kingsman franchise is set to be released this year. (November 8)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Animated Action | TBD) Jim Carrey and James Marsden star in this animated comedy based on the popular '90s video game. (November 8)
Frozen 2 (Animated Adventure Comedy | TBD) Did you know that Frozen is the highest-grossing animated film of all time? The long-awaited sequel will give you something to be thankful for! Follow Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf deep into the forest as they try to discover the truth about an ancient mystery of their kingdom. I can't wait to see Olaf again! (November 22)

Untitled Jumanji (Comedy | PG) Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan return in this sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. (December 13)
Star Wars: Episode IX (Action-Adventure | TBD) The finale to the trilogy will reveal the fate of Rey and Kylo Ren after the death of Luke Skywalker. (December 20)
