On August 20, 2003, we opened our doors and welcomed our first baby, Laci, at 7:52 AM. We are proud and honored that Laci will be joining us on August 20 — her 15th birthday — to celebrate Sky Ridge’s milestone anniversary.
The Birth Place, a signature service at Sky Ridge, offers nitrous oxide as a pain management option and has expanded its low intervention birth practices, giving moms greater choice for their special day.
The Invision Sally Jobe Breast Center in the Evergreen Building on the Sky Ridge campus offers 3D mammography and the breast surgical suite in the Conifer Building provides Sky Ridge Breast Center patients with comprehensive care ... close to home.
The Women’s Hospital at Sky Ridge is poised to offer depth and breadth of care for women at every stage of life. In fact, Becker’s Health Review ranked Sky Ridge among the top 100 women’s health programs in the country and we earned Women’s Choice awards for OB care and our Breast Center.
With the opening of its Hybrid OR Suite, the first of its kind in south metro Denver, Sky Ridge is now performing more complex vascular surgery. This 3,980 square foot OR suite combines the traditional features of an operating room with more advanced imaging technology, providing greater flexibility to surgeons to address the immediate needs of patients.
Sky Ridge has also increased its technology prowess with the purchase of Veran technology for the earlier detection of lung cancer, and is a top performer in thoracic surgery in HealthONE. We also added a new spine navigation system for enhanced precision in spine surgery, added the latest “cancer crushing” linear accelerator, and purchased our third Xi robot for minimally invasive surgical techniques. Sky Ridge is now the leader in robotic surgery in Colorado.
In addition to our stroke telemedicine technology and stroke alert program, Sky Ridge is now the first hospital in the southeast metro area to offer Intra-Arterial Thrombectomy, the surgical removal of a stroke causing blood clot ... the most advanced treatment for stroke today.
From its state-of-the-art Spine and Total Joint Center, dedicated Pediatric ER, and comprehensive cancer and neurosciences programs to its trauma center, stroke expertise, and cardiac wellness center, Sky Ridge is poised to serve the community for a lifetime.
