November 1

Arctic Dogs (Animated Comedy | PG) Swifty the Arctic fox (Jeremy Renner) works in the mail room but dreams of becoming a Top Dog. When he steals a sled to deliver a package to a mysterious location, he comes face-to-face with Otto Von Walrus (John Cleese), a blubbery evil genius who wants to take over the world.

Harriet (Biography | PG-13) Based on the thrilling and inspirational life of an iconic American freedom fighter, Harriet tells the extraordinary tale of Harriet Tubman's escape from slavery and transformation into one of America’s greatest heroes. Her courage, ingenuity, and tenacity freed hundreds of slaves and changed the course of history.

The King (Drama | R) This historical drama about the ascension of King Henry V (AKA Hal, played by Timothée Chalamet) to the throne of England focuses on the young king's emotional turmoil. It also features Robert Pattinson as The Dauphin of France.

Terminator: Dark Fate (Sci-Fi/Action | R) Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger return in the sixth installment of the series. Now a new team of agents must fight against T-1000.

November 8

Doctor Sleep (Horror | R) Following the Box Office success of It comes a new horror movie based on a Stephen King novel. Taking place years after the events of The Shining, a now-grown Dan Torrance meets a young girl with powers similar to his own.

Last Christmas (Romantic Comedy | PG-13) Working as an Elf for a department store Santa, Kate (Emilia Clarke, of Game of Thrones fame) meets Tom (Harry Golding, of Crazy Rich Asians fame). Things always seem to go wrong for Kate. Could this guy sweeping her off her feet actually be Mr. Right?

Playing with Fire (Comedy | PG) Nothing can prepare this elite team of firefighters (Keegan-Michael Key, John Cena, and John Leguizamo) for their greatest challenge yet — babysitting!




November 12

Lady and the Tramp (Adventure/Comedy | PG) It won't be long until all of Disney's classics will be transformed into live-action feature films (although this one, like The Lion King, relies heavily on CGI). This reimagining of the 1955 animated movie stars Tessa Thompson as Lady and Justin Theroux as Tramp with Sam Elliott voicing Trusty.

November 15

Charlie's Angels (Comedy | PG-13) It's a reboot of the 2000 movie based on the '70s TV series starring some of today's top female actors, including Elizabeth Banks (who also directed the film), Naomi Scott, Kristen Stewart, and Ella Balinska.

Ford v Ferrari (Action/Biography | PG-13) Based on the remarkable true story of American car designer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) and British-born driver Kevin Miles (Christian Bale), who defied all odds to build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966. Finally, a fast car movie that I want to see as much as my boys do!




The Good Liar (Drama | R) How is it that acting legends Dame Helen Mirren and Sir Ian McKellen have never starred in the same movie? The wait is over! Con artist Roy Courtnay (McKellen) meets wealthy widow Betty McLeish (Mirren) online. He's planning the perfect swindle that will leave him sitting pretty for the rest of his life but it doesn't unfold quite the way he intended.

November 22

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (Biopic | TBD) One of the most beloved actors of all time (Tom Hanks) plays the role of the most beloved children's show host, Mr. Fred Rogers. I think the world can use a little more of them both right about now!

Frozen II (Animated Adventure Comedy | PG) Did you know that Frozen is the highest-grossing animated film of all time (earning $1.2 BILLION)? The long-awaited sequel will give you something else to add to your gratitude list this Thanksgiving! Follow Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf deep into the forest as they try to discover the truth about an ancient mystery of their kingdom. I can't wait to see Olaf again!




November 27

The Irishman (Crime Biography | R) Scorsese. De Niro. Pacino. Pesci. With headlining names like these, this film about hitman Frank Sheeran (Robert De Niro), who reportedly killed Teamster leader Jimmy Hoffa (Al Pacino), is sure to be a success.

Knives Out (Dark Comedy/Murder Mystery | PG-13) Detective (Daniel Craig) is called to the home of a wealthy crime novelist (Christopher Plummer), who appears to have been murdered by one of his own at his 85th birthday party. This whodunit may be worth seeing just for the actors who play the members of this very dysfunctional family, including Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, Lakeith Stanfield, and many more.

Queen & Slim (Drama | R) When Queen (Jodie Turner-Smith) and Slim (Daniel Kaluuya) encounter an aggressive white cop, their first date turns deadly. They take off together like Bonnie & Clyde, hunted by some as cop killers but becoming folk heroes to others.

December 6

Playmobil: The Movie (Animated Adventure | TBD) A top-secret organization has caused citizens from different lands to vanish from thin air. The dashing and charismatic secret agent Rex Dasher (Daniel Radcliffe) must partner with Del (Jim Gaffigan), a smooth-talking food truck driver, and Marla (Anya Taylor-Joy), a smart and savvy civilian with her own secret agenda, to rescue them.

December 13

Jumanji: The Next Level (Comedy | TBD) YEEESSSSSS! Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan return to the world's most dangerous game in this sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (which made me laugh so hard I nearly spit out my soda).





December 20

The Aeronauts (Biographical Adventure | PG-13) Daredevil pilot Amelia Wren (Felicity Jones) and weather scientist James Glaisher (Eddie Redmayne) find themselves in an epic fight for survival while attempting to make discoveries in a gas balloon. Based on a variety of flights detailed in the book, Falling Upwards: How We Took to the Air, by Richard Holmes.

Cats (Musical | PG) Oscar®-winning director Tom Hooper (The King’s Speech, Les Misérables, The Danish Girl) transforms Andrew Lloyd Webber’s record-shattering stage musical into a breakthrough cinematic event starring James Corden, Judi Dench, Jason Derulo, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift, Rebel Wilson, and Royal Ballet principal dancer Francesca Hayward in her feature film debut.

Star Wars: Episode IX — The Rise of Skywalker (Action-Adventure | TBD) The finale to the trilogy will reveal the fate of Rey and Kylo Ren after the death of Luke Skywalker. Who will end up on the Dark Side?





December 25

1917 (War Drama | R) In the midst of World War I, Lieutenants Blake and Leslie are sent deep into enemy territory to deliver a message that will hopefully stop their fellow soldiers — and Blake's own brother — from walking into a deadly trap.

Little Women (Drama | PG) A classic story with a classic cast! Meryl Streep, Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Laura Dern, and Timothée Chalamet are just a few of the stars leading this film based on the beloved book about sisters who grow into young women after the Civil War. You've got time to re-read it before this one hits the theaters.




Spies in Disguise (Animated Action-Adventure | PG) Agent Sterling (Will Smith), the world's best spy, is accidentally turned into a pigeon by his nerdy tech officer (Tom Holland). But that doesn't mean he can't still save the world.




Uncut Gems (Thriller | R) Did you ever think you'd see Adam Sandler in a serious role? Me either. But the buzz is that he is incredible as a charismatic New York City jeweler always on the lookout for the next big score in this electrifying crime thriller from acclaimed filmmakers Josh and Benny Safdie.

January 1

Superintelligence (Romantic Comedy | PG) Nothing extraordinary ever happens to Carol Peters (Melissa McCarthy), so when she starts getting backtalk from her TV, phone, and microwave, she thinks she's being pranked — or losing her mind. In fact, the world's first superintelligence is studying and observing her... and may or may not have plans to take over the world.

January 10

My Spy (Comedy | PG-13) A hardened CIA operative (Dave Bautista) meets a precocious 9-year-old girl (Chloe Coleman). Moments of laughter followed by moments of sweetness are sure to follow.

January 17

Bad Boys for Life (Action/Comedy | TBD) Would you believe it's been nearly a quarter of a century since the first Bad Boys movie?!?! Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) are together again for one last ride in the highly anticipated end to the trilogy.

Dolittle (Adventure | TBD) Quite a shift from Iron Man! Robert Downey Jr. plays Dr. Dolittle, a physician who discovers he can talk to animals. Based on Hugh Lofting’s original children’s books.
