Hey, kids, give it a TRY! Children ages 6 to 12 of all ability levels can try their skills in three events: swimming, biking, and running.
Parker Parks and Recreation presents the Kids' TRY-athlon with Advanced Pediatric Associates on Saturday, July 15, at the H2O'Brien Pool.
This event is geared toward fun, not competition, so it is a great confidence booster for any kid.

Registration is now open! The pre-registration fee for this event, which closes July 15 at noon, is $35 and includes a commemorative t-shirt, custom race bib, a finish line medal, and post-race refreshments. The registration fee increases to $40 on July 1, so don't wait to sign up!
Sign up online at www.ParkerRec.com/KidsTRY by June 30 to guarantee your T-shirt size; space is limited.
Distances for each age group;
- 6-8 years: 25m swim (1 length) | 0.75-mile bike ride | .5-mile run
- 9-10 years: 50m swim (2 lengths) | 1.5-mile bike ride | .5-mile run
- 11-12 years: 100m swim (4 lengths) | 1.5-mile bike ride | 1-mile run
Swim heats and start times will be assigned at check-in.
