Did you know they can also help you explore Colorado... for FREE? DCL partners with local cultural institutions through its Adventure Pass program to provide library cardholders with great experiences at some of the area’s best museums and attractions. Library patrons can reserve admission passes to a variety of local cultural institutions using their library cards.
DCL's Adventure Pass partners include:
- Butterfly Pavilion – Butterflies are just the beginning! This local favorite is home to over 5,000 animals.
- Clyfford Still Museum – The museum allows visitors to experience the unique legacy of Clyfford Still, whose artistic works were hidden from public view for more than 30 years.
- Denver Firefighters Museum – Experience the history of firefighting in Denver, with a focus on the Denver Fire Department, and interact with traditional exhibits through innovative hands-on activities.
- Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys – The museum provides educational exhibits and arts education, highlighting the social and cultural history of miniatures, dolls and toys.
- History Colorado Center – Colorado’s rich history is on display through exhibits and programs that blend technology, media, environments and artifacts.
- Molly Brown House Museum – The home of Titanic survivor Margaret Tobin Brown has been carefully restored to its original Victorian splendor, sharing the story of “Molly” Brown and Denver history.
- Museum of Contemporary Art Denver – Featuring regional, national and international artists, MCA Denver offers a wide range of exhibitions promoting creative experimentation with art and ideas.
- Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum – Visitors will find over 50 aircraft on display, thrilling flight simulator experiences, and a learning center dedicated to the expansion of aerospace education in Colorado.
