How A Precious Child is Helping Local Families during COVID 19

April 14, 2020

Colorado is seeing historic unemployment stats and businesses are being forced to close or suspend regular activities. A Precious Child is stepping up to the front lines of COVID-19 relief efforts by providing emergency cleaning, hygiene, and diaper kits to the Denver Metro area's most vulnerable families.

In just over a week, folks across the metro area have donated over $180,000. Fifteen devoted supporters have rallied together to create a match, pledging $1 for $1 donations up to $300,000. Your support will help A Precious Child to continue empowering children and families by providing basic essentials needed now more than ever.

To date, A Precious Child has distributed:

  • 158 bottles of dish soap
  • 202 packets of laundry detergent
  • 2,342 rolls of toilet paper
  • 53 bottles of disinfectant spray/wipes
  • 72,082 diapers
  • 700 packages of baby wipes
  • 3,406 tubes of toothpaste
  • 2,576 toothbrushes
  • 2,536 bottles of shampoo
  • 2,118 sticks of deodorant
