Flour Power Kids Cooking Studios Offers One-Day and Spring Break Camps

Stir up a ton of fun during full-day cooking camps at Flour Power Kids Cooking Studios

Offered on Professional Development Days, Spring Break, and Summer Break, these camps are perfect for children ages 5-12 who love hands-on fun. Campers will prepare their own snacks and lunch, conduct kitchen science experiments, and create fun, themed arts and crafts.

Flour Power Kids Cooking Studio supplies everything kids need for a fantastic time filled with newly developed life-long skills, including math, science, reading, and creativity! At the end of the camp, participants receive an electronic copy of all the recipes!

Please note: Flour Power Kids Cooking Studios offers camps based on multiple school districts. Please check your district calendar before registering.


Out of this World Cooking
March 13-17 (Spring Break Camp)

Take a break from school and immerse yourself in the culinary delights of some of your favorite make-believe places. From Hogwarts to Middle Earth, the Minecraft universe to a galaxy far, far, away... Campers will be making recipes that are out of this world!

Cake My Day
Friday, April 21 (Teacher Workday)

Go ahead — cake my day! Participants in this sweet one-day camp will make Pound Cake French Toast, Corn Dog Cupcakes w/ Mac and Cheese, and a Spring Poke Cake!

Movie Munchies
Monday, April 24 (Teacher Workday)

Make favorite foods based on some of our all-time favorite movies. Today's menu includes Harry Potter's Butterbeer Pancakes, Lady and the Tramp's Spaghetti and Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs, and Trolls Rainbow Cupcakes!

Too Cool for School Food Science Camp
Friday, May 26 (Memorial Day Weekend Camp)
School's out, but the Flour Power science lab is open! Make butter in a jar and scratch-made strawberry jam to top scratch-made biscuits; create our own pasta for lunch; and bake soda pop cupcakes. Plus, campers will conduct fun kitchen science experiments.

Harry Potter
Monday, August 7 (Teacher Workday Camp)
Calling all Harry Potter fans for a fun-filled day making Butterbeer pancakes, savory lunch pasties, and Butterbeer rice Krispy treats! These are some magical dishes you won't want to miss!


Looking for summer camps?
Registration for summer opened on January 1, and camps are selling out quickly! There are just a few spots left in the following week-long summer camps:

  • Cook Like a Celebrity Chef
    May 30-June 2 (4-day camp): Cook recipes from Celebrity Chefs like Rachel Ray's Bananas Foster Pancakes (non-alcoholic), Alton Brown's Empanadas, and Jamie Oliver's Funky Spaghetti, plus have a (Cup)Cake Boss challenge!
  • Sauce Like a Boss
    June 26-30: Sauce Like a Boss with scratch-made sauces every day! This week's menu includes mac and cheese with roux sauce, homemade BBQ sauce, nacho cheese sauce, chocolate caramel sauce, and more yummy sauces!
  • Passport to Flavor
    July 17-21: Give your tastebuds a change in venue. Visit the East with Teriyaki Chicken and Veggie Stir Fry, make a stop in Italy for Famous Alfredo Sauce and homemade pasta, plus make recipes from other countries like Mexico, England, and Ireland! Grab your passport and register so you don't miss out on this amazing trip.
  • Share Foods with Friends
    August 8-11 (4-day camp): This camp is all about small portions that are big on taste! Small plate shareable treats you and your friends will love include Breakfast Pigs in a Blanket, Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs in Marinara Sauce, Pancake Bites, Grilled Cheese Dippers with Tomato Soup, Mini Fruit Tarts, and more!

Week-long camps are $369, and one-day camps are $109 per student. Regular camp hours are 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Before and after care are available beginning at 8:00 AM and ending at 4:30 PM. The cost is $50 for morning care and $50 for afternoon care for full-week camps, $10 per day for morning care, and $10 for afternoon care for individual camp days.
