The year has barely begun, but kids are already wishing that school was out for summer. Parents looking to keep kids busy during school breaks should look no further. The Town of Castle Rock has something for everyone hoping to enjoy the dog days of summer.

The Town offers a wide range of Athletic & Adventure Camps for youth. Running from Tuesday, May 30 through mid-August, the Town's full-day, half-day, and specialty summer camps are available for kids ages 4 to 17, with a variety of themes.

Registration is now open, and spots fill up quickly. Visit CRgov.com/Camps for a complete list of summer camp offerings, descriptions, and prices.

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: Register before February 20 with coupon code CAMP23 to receive $10 off per camp. The code is valid for full-day Athletic & Adventure Camps, not half-day or specialty camps.

 Gold Medal Camp (ages 7-12)

These full-day and half-day camps are geared toward competitive athletes looking to develop their skills and personal development in a competitive environment. Sports include basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, soccer, inline hockey, cheerleading, baseball, softball, and flag football.

Multisport Camp (ages 5-8 and 9-14)

This is the perfect camp for kids interested in a whole week of sports or learning a new sport. Campers can experience a different sport each day — including soccer, flag football, lacrosse, baseball/softball, and kickball.

Rock Rec Camp (ages 5-13)

Rock Rec offers a unique balance of a traditional day camp experience in the beautiful 300-acre Philip S. Miller Park. With a combination of outstanding amenities, exciting programming, and energetic counselors, this structured and fun day camp will be the perfect place for your child.

The Great Outdoors Camp (ages 10-15)

This camp takes advantage of the sprawling 300-acre Philip S. Miller Park, which includes the Miller Activity Complex (MAC), Millhouse, Amphitheater, Challenge Hill, Ziplines, Adventure Tower, Sky Trek, adventure playground area, and over ten miles of hiking and biking trails. Tweens and teens experience outdoor adventures that challenge them to try something new while growing outside their comfort zone.

Kindergarten Prep (Ages 4-5)

Keep the learning going over the summer with Kindergarten Prep. This class is designed as a stepping stone to Kindergarten and fully prepares your child to begin the math, reading, spelling, and writing process.

In addition, the Town of Castle Rock offers a variety of specialty camps and clinics with outside contractors, including KidzArt, Fencing Academy of Denver, Inspire to Learn & Imagine, and many more.
