History Colorado Offers Free Memberships to Colorado Fourth Graders

DID YOU KNOW? History Colorado offers free memberships to all Colorado fourth-grade students and their families. Registration is open at h-co.org/4thgrade.

Designed to support learning our state’s history through their fourth-grade curriculum, the History Buff program includes admission to all eight History Colorado museums for students and their families (up to five additional people), a free child ticket to the Georgetown Loop Historic Mining & Railroad Park® with the purchase of an adult ticket (one-time use only), and discounts on programs and camps.

Once you become a member, make your reservation to visit any of the following museums:

All Colorado students entering fourth grade in the 2022-2023 school year, including homeschool equivalent students, are eligible for the History Buff program. Membership will be valid through May 31, 2023.

From historic homes to adobe forts, each museum tells the intriguing tale of Colorado’s many cultures and prominent figures through thought-provoking interactive exhibits and events. A full slate of History Colorado events and programs statewide is available at h-co.org/events.
