Find the Perfect Costume at the Halloween BOOtique ~ October 13-15

Volunteers and costume donations needed

September 28, 2023

Rylie's ARK believes that every child should be able to experience the joy of dressing up on Halloween without the burden of cost.

Their annual Halloween BOOtique offers a pay-what-makes-you-happy model with the hopes of creating joy and removing the burden of cost, especially when a costume is only worn once. Whether someone can contribute $0, 50¢, or $10, all are welcome.

What is the Halloween BOOtique?

The Halloween BOOtique is an opportunity for families to come in and find the perfect costume for Halloween parties, Trick-or-Treating, and fun.

People of all ages are invited to come in to shop the selection of gently used costumes for all ages and sizes — infant through adult — and let their imaginations run wild. There's nothing quite like dressing up to be whatever our heart desires. There's joy; there's freedom; there's potential.

Several area businesses are accepting donations through October 12. Please refer to each business's website for exact locations and times of operation.

Want to volunteer?

Volunteers are needed the week before the shop opens to help bag and tag donated costumes.

During store hours, volunteers are needed to help everyone find their perfect costume and keep inventory organized.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Children under the age of 14 need to be accompanied by an adult.

About Rylie's ARK

Rylie's ARK (Acts of Random Kindness) was created in honor of Rylie Guentensberger, who died at the age of 12 after a freak accident and nearly a month in the hospital. She had a huge impact on those around her — all because she lived a life designed to make others happy.

Inspired by Rylie to live life putting others first and spreading happiness, Rylie's ARK is committed to organically spreading kindness through random acts, both big and small. Through the foundation, Rylie's ARK hopes to help individuals and families in times of need, sponsor scholarships to summer camps, pay sports fees, and much more.
