Douglas County Libraries Celebrates Community with 2023 Brew Tour

August 5, 2023

Visit local breweries and coffee shops, and earn prizes! Douglas County Libraries’ 2023 Brew Tour is underway, offering a fun way for the community to come together and celebrate over shared passions: books and brews. Registration is open!

Whether you enjoy craft brews or hand-crafted coffee drinks, there’s something for you in this year’s tour, which runs through September 30.

The DCL Brew Tour includes local craft breweries, coffee houses, and DCL-hosted events at select partner and library locations.

Registered participants can earn unique rewards and prizes by logging visits to the different participating breweries and coffee shops in August and September and are automatically entered into DCL’s Grand Prize drawing for a Happy Brew Year, consisting of one premium insulated growler with a booklet of fills from our partner breweries.

Don’t miss exclusive babysitter-worthy events like Books and Authors Bingo, Lit(erary) Trivia, Books and Brew Pairings, and Literary Scavenger Hunt. Attending these events and new Power Hours at select library and brewery locations can help you accumulate points toward awesome prizes!

Event registration and Power Hour location details are announced every Friday throughout the tour on the Beanstack app.

Participating in the Brew Tour is free and offers a great way to discover and support businesses in your community, enjoy fresh-brewed craft beer and coffee, attend fun events, and earn prizes and rewards.

Register today at DCL.org/brew-tour. You must be 18 or older to participate and 21+ to consume alcohol.
