JANUARY 6: M3GAN (Thriller/Horror | PG-13) Designed by brilliant toy-company roboticist Gemma (Get Out's Allison Williams), M3GAN is a life-like doll programmed to be a child's greatest companion and a parent's greatest ally. When Gemma suddenly becomes the caretaker of her orphaned 8-year-old niece Cady, Gemma decides to pair her M3GAN prototype with Cady in an attempt to resolve both problems — a decision that will have unimaginable consequences.
JANUARY 13: A Man Called Otto (Comedy/Drama | PG-13) A grumpy widower (Tom Hanks) whose only joy comes from criticizing and judging his exasperated neighbors meets his match when a lively young family moves in next door, leading to an unexpected friendship that will turn his world upside-down. No one does heartwarming better than Tom Hanks, amiright?
JANUARY 20: Alice, Darling (Thriller | R) I've never seen Anna Kendrick in a role like this before! She stars as a young woman pushed to the breaking point by her psychologically abusive boyfriend, Simon (Charlie Carrick). While on vacation with her two closest friends, Alice gains some much-needed perspective and starts to fray the cords of codependency that bind her. But Simon's vengeance is as inevitable as it is shattering.
JANUARY 20: Missing (Thriller | PG-13) When her mother (Nia Long) disappears on vacation in Colombia with her new boyfriend, June (Storm Reid) searches for answers but is hindered by international red tape. Stuck in Los Angeles, June uses all the latest technology to find her mom before it's too late. But as she digs deeper, her digital sleuthing raises more questions than answers… and when June unravels secrets about her mom, she discovers that she never really knew her at all.
JANUARY 20: When You Finish Saving the World (Dramedy | R) Jesse Eisenberg makes his directorial debut in this story about a mother (Julianne Moore) and her teenage son (Finn Wolfhard) who can't seem to connect with each other so they try to find that bond in someone else. She latches onto a young boy she meets at a women's shelter while her son falls in love with an extremely political student at his school.
JANUARY 27: Distant (Sci-Fi Comedy | PG-13) After crash-landing on an alien planet, an asteroid miner must make his way across harsh terrain hunted by strange creatures to reach the only other survivor.

FEBRUARY 3: 80 for Brady (Comedy | PG-13) Inspired by the story of four best friends who take a wild trip to the 2017 Super Bowl LI to watch their hero Tom Brady play. The trailer is laugh-out-loud funny, and the four women are played by some of Hollywood's best: Academy Award® nominee Lily Tomlin, Academy Award® winner Jane Fonda, Academy Award® winner Rita Moreno, and Academy Award® winner Sally Field.
FEBRUARY 3: Knock at the Cabin (Thriller | R) While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost. Directed by M. Night Shyamalan and starring Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy franchise), Jonathan Groff (Hamilton), and Rupert Grint (Harry Potter franchise), among others.
FEBRUARY 10: Magic Mike's Last Dance (Comedy/Drama | R) Just in time for Galentine's Day, Channing Tatum is back as Magic Mike! He's fallen on hard times and accepts an opportunity from a wealthy woman (Salma Hayek, looking as beautiful as ever). I heard it ends with a 30-minute dance finale. Yes, please!
FEBRUARY 10: Sharper (Thriller | R) No one is who they seem in Sharper, a neo-noir thriller of secrets and lies, set among New York City's bedrooms, barrooms, and boardrooms. Characters compete for riches and power in a high-stakes game of ambition, greed, lust and jealousy that will keep audiences guessing until the final moment.
FEBRUARY 17: Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania (Super Hero Action | PG-13) It's time to kick off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. With Hope's parents, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures, and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what anyone thought was possible.
FEBRUARY 24: Cocaine Bear (Thriller | R) If the title didn't make it clear, the movie is based on the true story of a black bear consuming large quantities of cocaine from a failed drug-smuggling operation and then going on a rampage. I've watched the trailer several times, and I still don't know if it's going to be hilarious or awful, but I do love me some Elizabeth Banks.
FEBRUARY 24: Jesus Revolution (Drama | TBD) Based on the true story that led to what TIME Magazine dubbed a "Jesus Revolution," young Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney) is searching for all the right things in all the wrong places — until he meets Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie), a charismatic hippie street preacher. Together with Pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer), they open the doors of Smith's languishing church to an unexpected revival of radical and newfound love.
FEBRUARY 24: Mummies (Animated Comedy | PG) Two worlds collide when three Egyptian mummies end up in present-day London and embark on a journey to reclaim an old ring belonging to the Royal Family that was stolen by an ambitious archaeologist, Lord Carnaby.

MARCH 3: Creed III (Sports Drama | PG-13) Michael B. Jordan stars in and makes his directorial debut with the third installment of the successful franchise. Adonis Creed has been thriving in both his career and family life. When Damian (Jonathan Majors), a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, the face-off is more than just a fight — it's settling a score with a fighter who has nothing to lose.
MARCH 10: 65 (Sci-Fi | TBD) Mills (Adam Driver) is an astronaut who is hit by an asteroid while traveling through space and does a crash-landing on an "uncharted celestial body," only to discover that it's actually Earth — 65 million years ago. Written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods (A Quiet Place) with a score by Danny Elfman, it is sure to be a hit!
MARCH 17: Shazam: Fury of the Gods (Action/Comedy | PG-13) Teenager Billy Batson uses the magic word "Shazam!" to transform into his alter ego, an adult superhero (Zachary Levi). Helen Mirren, Adam Brody, and Lucy Liu also star in this sequel to the hilarious 2019 film.
MARCH 24: Champions (Sports Comedy | TBD) After a series of missteps, a former minor-league basketball coach (Woody Harrelson) is court-ordered to coach a team of players with intellectual disabilities. He soon realizes that despite his doubts, together, this team can go further than they ever imagined.
MARCH 24: John Wick Chapter 4 (Action | R) John Wick (Keanu Reeves) takes on his most lethal adversaries yet in the upcoming fourth installment of the series. With the price on his head ever increasing, Wick takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most influential players in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Osaka to Berlin. If it's anything like the first three films, it will be high action — and high violence.
MARCH 31: Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (Fantasy | TBD) Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Regé-Jean Page star in this action-packed and hilarious big-budget film adaptation of the legendary roleplaying game that was big in the '80s and gained new life when it was featured in Stranger Things. It's a quest you'll surely want to be a part of — and rumor has it that there's already a spin-off series in the works.
MARCH 31: A Good Person (Drama | R) Daniel (Morgan Freeman) is brought together with Allison (Florence Pugh), the once thriving young woman with a bright future who was involved in a tragedy that took his daughter’s life. As grief-stricken Daniel navigates raising his teenage granddaughter and Allison seeks redemption, they discover that friendship, forgiveness, and hope can flourish in unlikely places. I will see ANY movie starring Morgan Freeman!

APRIL 7: Chevalier (Drama | PG-13) Inspired by the incredible true story of composer Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges (Kelvin Harrison Jr.). The illegitimate son of an enslaved African woman and a French plantation owner, Bologne rises to improbable heights in French society as a celebrated violinist-composer and fencer, complete with an ill-fated love affair and a falling out with Marie Antoinette herself and her Court.
APRIL 7: The Super Mario Bros. Movie (Animated Adventure | PG) Based on the popular video game, it's the movie no one asked for. And yet everyone was mad when they learned the non-Italian Chris Pratt would voice a cartoon plumber named Mario.
APRIL 14: Renfield (Comedy/Horror | R) In this modern monster tale, Renfield (Nicholas Hoult) is the tortured aide to history's most narcissistic boss, Dracula (Nicolas Cage). Now, after centuries of servitude, Renfield is ready to see if there is life outside the shadow of The Prince of Darkness — if only he can figure out how to end his codependency.
APRIL 21: Spinning Gold (Music Biopic | R) A biopic of 1970s record producer Neil Bogart, co-founder of Casablanca Records.
APRIL 28: Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret (Comedy | TBD) Based on the iconic book by Judy Blume, Margaret (Abby Ryder Fortson) is an 11-year-old trying to make her way through all the turmoil of adolescence. She relies on her mother, Barbara (Rachel McAdams), who is also struggling to adjust to life outside the big city, and her adoring grandmother, Sylvia (Kathy Bates), who isn’t happy they moved away and likes to remind them every chance she gets.

MAY 5: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (Superhero Action | TBD) Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
MAY 12: Book Club: The Next Chapter (Comedy | TBD) The first Book Club — starring screen legends Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, and Mary Steenburgen — was a hilarious movie about a group of friends experiencing sexual reawakenings after reading Fifty Shades of Grey. Just in time for Mother's Day, these lovely ladies take their book club on a girls' trip to Italy.
MAY 12: Love Again (Dramedy | TBD) Based on the book by Sofie Cramer, a young woman tries to ease the pain of her fiancé's death by sending romantic texts to his old cell phone number and forms a connection with the man the number has been reassigned to.
MAY 19: Fast X (Action | TBD) How many movies in a series is "too many"? I'm not sure, but this is the tenth installment in the Fast and Furious franchise. It's rumored to be the last one, but it is in two parts, with the second half coming in 2024.
MAY 26: The Little Mermaid (Fantasy | PG) Disney again transforms one of its classic movies into a live-action version. The underwater scenes are positively breathtaking and should be seen on the big screen, IMO. Pardon me if I sing along!

JUNE 2: Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) (Animated Superhero Action | TBD) Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga in an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with other Spider-People (and maybe even one Spider-Pig) to take on the most powerful villain yet.
JUNE 9: Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (Sci-Fi Adventure | TBD) Loosely based on the Beast Wars storyline, Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a '90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new breed of Transformer — the Maximals — to the existing battle between Autobots and Decepticons.
JUNE 16: Elemental (Animated Comedy | TBD) Am I too old to get excited when Pixar is releasing another movie? NO! Ember, a fiery woman, and Wade, a go-with-the-flow kind of guy, are friends who live in a diverse city made up of fire, water, land, and air citizens.
JUNE 23: Asteroid City (Comedy | TBD) Director Wes Anderson, known for quirky movies like The French Dispatch and The Royal Tenanbaums, is back! The movie is about a Junior Stargazer convention that is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events and is filled with just about all the stars in the Hollywood Universe, including Tom Hanks, Margot Robbie, Edward Norton, Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, Steve Carell, Willem Dafoe, Tilda Swinton, and so many more!
JUNE 23: The Flash (Superhero Action/Adventure | TBD) Setting the stage for future DCEU movies, Barry Allen (Ezra Miller), AKA The Flash, travels back in time to save his mother and, in doing so, creates a parallel timeline. Ben Affleck returns as Batman for his final DC appearance, and Michael Keaton will return as his '80s Batman.
JUNE 30: Harold and the Purple Crayon (Animated Fantasy | TBD) Based on the 1955 classic by Crockett Johnson, a young boy named Harold embarks on a magical mission with the help of his purple crayon. I'm not sure how you turn this short book into a full-length feature but it was one of my children's favorite stories.
JUNE 30: Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (Action/Adventure | TBD) Although the plot is still unknown, fans are excited to see Harrison Ford return as Indiana Jones in this long-awaited follow-up to 2008’s Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. This is the first film in the franchise that is not directed by Steven Spielberg.

JULY 14: Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One (Action/Thriller | TBD) Little is known about the seventh installment of the long-running series (the first released in 1996). Expect a lot of action and Tom Cruise performing his own stunts. If we keep seeing them, they'll keep making them.
JULY 14: Roosevelt (Biopic | TBD) Frequent collaborators in film, it should come as no surprise that Martin Scorsese selected Leonardo DiCaprio to play the 32nd president of the United States who navigated the Great Depression and World War II.
JULY 21: Barbie (Comedy | TBD) Greta Gerwig co-wrote and directed this original story, which chronicles the life of Barbie (Margot Robbie) as she’s expelled from Barbie Land and introduced to our world. The "first look" photos of Ryan Gosling as Ken got all the buzz last summer.
JULY 21: Oppenheimer (Biopic | TBD) Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin and directed by Christopher Nolan, Oppenheimer is the story of the American scientist who designed and helped develop the atomic bomb. The film is full of big-name stars, including Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr., Gary Oldman, Matt Damon, Kenneth Branagh, John Hartnett, and Rami Malek.

AUGUST 4: The Meg 2: The Trench (Action | TBD) Although the plot hasn't been revealed, the sequel to 2018's The Meg, this generation's larger and scarier version of Jaw, is sure to be a smash.
AUGUST 4: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (Animated Action/Adventure | TBD) There are only two things we know about this movie right now: Seth Rogen is in the cast and it's scheduled to release in August. More will be revealed!
AUGUST 11: Gran Turismo (Action | TBD) Based on the true story of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional racecar driver.
AUGUST 18: Blue Beetle (Superhero Action/Adventure) The DC Universe introduces audiences to Jaime Reyes (Xolo Maridueña), a Mexican teenager who discovers an alien beetle that gives him superpowered armor.

SEPTEMBER 15: A Haunting in Venice (Mystery | TBD) Based on Hallowe'en Party, one of Agatha Christie's lesser-known novels, a retired Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) is reluctantly attending a seance when one of the other guests is murdered.

OCTOBER 6: Kraven the Hunter (Superhero Action/Adventure | TBD) The classic Spider-Man villain finally makes it to the big screen as he tries to prove that he's the greatest hunter in the world.
OCTOBER 13: PAW Patrol: The Might Movie (Animated Action/Adventure | TBD) A magical meteor crashes into Adventure City, giving the PAW Patrol pups superpowers and transforming them into The Mighty Pups.

NOVEMBER 3: Dune: Part Two (Action/Adventure | TBD) Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, and more return for the remainder of Frank Herbert’s 1965 opus.
NOVEMBER 10: The Marvels (Superhero Action | TBD) The Marvel Universe continues to expand. Brie Larson returns as Captain Marvel in this sequel to the 2019 hit.
NOVEMBER 17: The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (Action/Adventure | TBD) Return to The Hunger Games with Lionsgate's adaptation of Suzanne Collins' #1 New York Times bestseller, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Years before he would become the tyrannical President of Panem, 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth) is assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler), the District 12 tribute. Their race against time to survive will ultimately reveal who is a songbird and who is a snake.
NOVEMBER 17: Next Goal Wins (Sports Biopic | PG-13) Directed by Academy Award-winner Taika Waititi, Next Goal Wins follows Thomas Rongen (Michael Fassbender), the down-on-his-luck former footballer who was hired to coach American Samoa's infamously terrible soccer team.
NOVEMBER 17: Trolls 3: Band Together (Animated Comedy | TBD) Anna Kenrick and Justin Timberlake return as the voices of Queen Poppy and Branch in what will likely be my favorite family movie of the year.
NOVEMBER 22: Wish (Animated Comedy | TBD) 17-year-old Asha and her goat Valentino navigate Rosas, the kingdom of wishes, where wishes can literally come true in Disney's new animated musical.

DECEMBER 15: Wonka (Adventure | TBD) Written and directed by Paul King (Paddington), this origin story follows a young Willy Wonka (Timothée Chalamet) as he first meets the Oompa-Loompas. The grade-A cast also includes Olivia Colman, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, and Keegan Michael-Key.
DECEMBER 20: The Color Purple (Drama | TBD) The musical adaptation of Alice Walker's Southern epic novel stars Halle Bailey as Nettie and Taraji P. Henson as Shug Avery. R&B phenom H.E.R. will make her screen debut as Squeak.
DECEMBER 20: Untitled Ghostbusters: Afterlife Sequel (Action/Adventure | TBD) The sequel to 2021's Ghostbusters: Afterlife doesn't even have a name yet, but the film’s setting will be New York and the firehouse from the original films, which was teased at the end of Afterlife.
DECEMBER 22: Migration (Animated Comedy | TBD) A family of ducks try to convince their overprotective father to go on the vacation of a lifetime.
DECEMBER 25: Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (Superhero Action | TBD) Little is known about the plot, but we do know that Jason Momoa returns as Aquaman, and, for most women I know, that is enough information.
