Birthday parties at DCL are fun, customized, and convenient and add a bit of magic to the birthday child's special day. Our professional event coordinators manage all the details so parents don't have to. We'd love to host your child's birthday celebration!
The epic adventures, roaring good times, and magical stories experienced every day at DCL Storytimes and through our extensive collection of kids' books and DVDs can be a memorable part of your child's birthday. And dress-up is encouraged!
Birthday parties at DCL are ideal for kids ages 2-7 and are available in three fun themes: Once Upon a Time, Folklore and Fantasy, and Things That Roar. Delightful stories, crafts, and activities are built into every party!
Simply choose your theme and library location — Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Parker, or Roxborough — and our event coordinators will take it from there.
All themed birthday party packages include:
- Stress-free planning, dedicated on-site coordination, and party management
- An invitation that you may email to guests and thank-you notes for use after the party
- Party décor
- Party setup and cleanup
- Age-appropriate activities
- Goody bags for guests, including age-appropriate toys and snacks
- Birthday lollipop bouquet
- Gift book for the birthday girl or boy

Birthday parties are offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:30–4:30 PM (subject to availability) and cost $225 for up to 12 children, including the birthday girl/boy.

Expectant parents and soon-to-be newlyweds can celebrate at DCL! Our new baby and wedding shower packages offer professional event coordination services and built-in activities that allow you to enjoy your special day stress-free.
All shower packages include:
- Setup, cleanup, and a dedicated party coordinator
- Digital invitations
- Party décor
- Your choice of three fun activities (you choose two)
- Three craft activities
- Party favors for you and your guests
- Candies and snacks
- Water service and hot tea service
Showers are offered Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM, 2:00–4:00 PM, and 6:00–8:00 PM (subject to availability) and cost $250 for up to 18 guests, including the guest of honor.
