Front Range Theatre Company produces musical Summer Camps every year. This year's productions will be Footloose and Newsies JR. Camps will take place at Parker Performing Arts School.
Working with professional instructors with years of experience, your child will learn the three major elements of any stage performer: Voice, Dance, and Acting.
The camps are designed to challenge performers in the entire range of life in the theatre, including a live performance in a mainstage venue!
FRTC recently celebrated its 10th anniversary in the Denver Metro area. The organization is committed to spotlighting every young thespian on the Front Range and welcoming them into the FRTC Fam!

When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, he is prepared for the inevitable adjustment period at his new high school. But he's not ready for the rigorous local edicts, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher, who is determined to exercise control over the town's youth.
When the reverend's rebellious daughter sets her sights on Ren, her roughneck boyfriend tries to sabotage Ren's reputation, with many locals eager to believe the worst about the new kid. Inspired by the rousing true story of newsboys in turn-of-the-century New York City, Disney's Newsies JR. is a 60-minute version of the 2012 Broadway musical based on the 1992 film.
When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys' expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what's right.
Including the now-classic songs "Carrying the Banner," "Seize the Day," and "Santa Fe," Newsies JR. is a timeless story full of spirit and heart. (MTI)
