World’s Largest Swimming Lesson
The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™, created by the World Waterpark Association in 2010, is a global event supported by aquatic facilities, waterparks, pools, swim schools, and YMCAs, among others. The event aims to build awareness about the fundamental importance of teaching children to swim to prevent drowning.
Swimming is a life-saving skill for children and a vital tool to prevent drowning, the second leading cause of unintended, injury-related death for U.S. children ages 1-14. Research shows the risk of drowning can be reduced by 88% if children participate in formal swimming lessons between the ages of 1-4.
Join Pirates Cove on June 22 for a free half-hour swim lesson to expose individuals to the techniques taught in swimming lessons to help narrow that gap on drowning. The event will begin promptly at 9:00 AM and will last for 30 minutes.

Pirates Cove Adult Nights
Leave the young buccaneers at home and swim the night away with some live music for four nights this summer! Sanitas Brewery will be on-site too!
Tickets are $6 per person and will be available for purchase the night of each event at the ticket office. A limited number of tickets to each Adult Night will be available for purchase online one week prior to each event.

Annual Food Drive
From July 10-15, bring a non-perishable food item with you and receive a free 24-ounce soda from the Barnacle Cafe. Exchange your non-perishable food item for your drink voucher at the ticket office to exchange for your drink voucher. One voucher per person.
Proceeds go to Colorado Feeding Kids Food Bank.
Christmas in July
Celebrate Christmas Pirate-style on the 25th of July when Pirates Cove will be decked out and ready for Christmas style. And yes, you can expect a special visit from Santa!
