These adorable turkey cookies are not only delicious but also super-duper easy to make — a great way to get kids involved in low-risk Thanksgiving prep. I love how each of the kids created turkeys with personality.
Turkey Sugar Cookies
- 24-round sugar cookies (you can make your own or buy store-bought!)
- Chocolate icing
- Red cookie decorating icing
- Candy corn (we used some we had leftover from Halloween 🎃)
- Candy eyes
Now, waddle your way into the kitchen with the kids and follow these easy-peasy directions.
- Bake your cookies if you aren't using storebought.
- Cover your cookie with chocolate icing for their feathery coat.
- Add candy corn for colorful feathers and a beak, candy eyes, and red icing for the wattle. Don't be afraid to give your turkey personality!
