Our team is excited to offer a variety of shows this summer! Join us on a journey of self-discovery, singing, acting, dancing, character development, accents, and more. All of our offerings are sure to be a ton of fun, but here are a few highlights we are excited about.
Bye Bye Birdie
Our two-week intensive teen camp, Bye Bye Birdie, allows your teen to engage in a full-scale production process. From auditions to callbacks to rehearsals, this experience will surely be a highlight of the summer. Your student will spend 10 days singing and dancing to music and choreography tailored for older kids so they can grow in their abilities and experience!
A loving musical send-up of the early 1960s, small-town America, teenagers, and rock 'n' roll, Bye Bye Birdie remains as fresh and vibrant as ever. Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie has been drafted, so he chooses all-American girl Kim McAfee for a very public farewell kiss.
Featuring a tuneful, high-energy score, plenty of great parts for kids, and a hilarious script, Bye Bye Birdie remains one of the most popular shows in schools across the country. Hit songs include "Put on a Happy Face," "One Last Kiss," "One Boy," "A Lot of Livin' to Do," "Kids!" and "Rosie." This is a show you will not want to miss!
Accents and Dialects
Our Accents and Dialects Workshop is an excellent option for students ages 10 to 18. Having a solid accent is a must for many significant roles. Shrek? Scottish! Mary Poppins? British! Sebastian? Jamaican! Lumiere? French! And what Newsie doesn't have a New York dialect?!
The ability to perform an accent can open new possibilities! Campers will learn the techniques that will help them take on that next big character!
Arf! and bugz
We love our littles, too! Both Arf! and bugz provide exciting opportunities for your young performer to learn the ropes of theatre. These half-day show camps are perfect for your little singers and dancers to learn about theatre and make new friends.
Both camps culminate in a brief show for your little one to shine!
