If you are looking for a unique holiday event but also want to give back to the community head down to the Franktown Festival of Lights!
Franktown Festival of Lights was created in 2005 as a way to decorate the neighborhood for the holidays and has grown into the wonderful spectacle it is today. The display takes over 20 days to install and features over 500K lights, animated displays, forest walking trails, a small drive through, and 12 custom synchronized light shows!
Know Before You Go
- FREE: No tickets / No Reservations / No Fees required
- Food Drive : Please bring canned goods, non-perishable, or hygiene related items, cash donations also welcome!
- Location: 575 N White Tail Dr.Franktown, CO 80116 This is a private residence! Please be respectful of the property, neighbors, and community.
- Dates: Nightly November 28, 2024 - December 29, 2024
- Time: 5:00pm-10:00pm with light shows starting at 5:20pm
- Drive thru/by: Tune car radios to FM 90.7 and turn off headlights, drive-thru portion may be closed for walkers only at busy times.
- Walk thru: Outdoor speakers to enjoy the music. Trail and drive may be slippery and uneven and owner is not responsible for slips, falls, accidents or injuries of any kind. Santa is around most weekends from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
- Be patient! The festival has become a popular holiday event. There will be a lot of traffic and limited parking.
Light Shows Nightly until December 29th, 2024
The light shows are created and programmed by the owner and their son. They create mixed soundtracks and program the lights to account for every beat of music creating a truly festive synchronized show. In total it takes around 8 hours of programming and planning to complete. The light shows run every 20 minutes starting at 5:20pm with the last show at 9:40pm. Below is the schedule of shows, show run between 5 and 8 minutes. The lights will be lit between shows.

- 7:00pm Glorious Newborn - Sidewalk Prophets and Mercy Me (6.5 minutes)
- 7:20pm Ho Ho Ho Down - Various artists and music styles (7.5 minutes)
- 7:40pm Go Tell The World - VanBuuren, Pentatonix, and Profitt/Crowder (6 minutes)
- 8:00pm Joy to Grinch - Variety of artists and styles (6.5 minutes)
- 8:20pm Holiday Medley Mishap - Lincoln Brewster and Armin Van Buuren (7 minutes)
- 8:40pm Ho Ho Ho Down - Various artists and music styles (7.5 minutes)
- 9:00pm Merry Spirit of Christmas To You - Sidewalk Prophets (8 minutes)

About the Food Drive
All donated items, cash, canned goods, non-perishable, or hygiene related items, are divided among three local charities. In the past week 1,500 pounds have been donated!
- SECOR -South East Community Outreach (Parker, CO). began as a Christmas Outreach program from the Southeast Christian Church offering food and gifts to those who might not otherwise have a Christmas. From there, it grew into a year round outreach program, feeding families in need.
- Help and Hope Center (Castle Rock, CO - Serving Douglas & Elbert County), is making life-changing differences for our neighbors in need.
- The Parker Task Force for Human Services (Parker, CO) is dedicated to providing individuals and families in our community with food, limited financial assistance and other support services to help them become self-sufficient.
