Douglas County's 2025 Strive to Thrive Event

Come for a hot meal and community resources

Douglas County residents enduring hard times can take advantage of a free hot meal and more than 20 local service organizations available at the Strive to Thrive Resource and Service Fair.

  • Tuesday, January 28th
  • 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. 
  • Calvary Castle Rock, 1100 Caprice Drive, Castle Rock

This FREE event provides attendees with information on employment opportunities, where to access food and clothing, how to apply for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly food stamps), medical assistance, emergency assistance applications, housing information and assistance, haircuts, and much more. Many of these services provided on site at the event by participating agencies.



About Strive to Thrive

Strive to Thrive is a bi-annual event hosted by Douglas County’s Community of Care Network usually in January and July.  Agencies and organizations come together to offer a one-stop-shop resource fair for vulnerable residents in Douglas County.
