Get ready for a day full of patriotism, pride and celebration as Denver’s official Veterans Day event returns to City Park!
On Saturday, Nov. 8, Colorado Veterans Project (CVP) will host the 17th annual Denver Veterans Day Run and 12th annual Denver Veterans Day Parade & Festival, in partnership with the City of Denver – a high-energy, heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country.
Each year, thousands of Coloradans come together for this can’t-miss tradition that blends honor and excitement while raising funds to help veterans and transitioning service members build meaningful careers and thriving businesses.
Event Lineup
- Denver Veterans Day Run | 8:30am to 10:15am – Runners, joggers and walkers of all levels will participate in 5K and 10K races, as well as the 10K Rippetoe Rucksack Challenge – a test of endurance in which participants carry a 25-pound ruck or backpack throughout the course. Proceeds from the event will support veteran organizations across Colorado focused on career, employment and entrepreneurial support.
- Denver Veterans Day Parade | 10:30am to noon – Marching bands, ROTC groups, classic cars, veterans’ organizations and community supporters through City Park.
- Veterans Day Festival | 9:30am to 3:30pm – The festivities will continue with the family-friendly festival, complete with local vendors, food, beer garden, live music, family-friendly activities and veteran resources.
Both the parade and festival are free to attend, offering a fun and meaningful way to celebrate service and community spirit in the heart of Denver.
