The Gunnison Valley is about to get a whole lot more puzzling — in the best way possible. On Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Center for the Arts Crested Butte will host the inaugural Inner Piece Speed Puzzle Competition, introducing competitive speed puzzling to Colorado’s high country.
Speed puzzling — one of the fastest-growing social sports — challenges competitors to assemble jigsaw puzzles against the clock. This family-friendly weekend retreat features Adult (all ages) and Youth (15 years and younger) divisions in Solos, Pairs, Pairs Relay, and Teams. Expect fast-paced friendly competition in the prettiest valley in the nation!
