The Great Outdoors camp takes advantage of the sprawling 300-acre Philip S. Miller Park.
This regional park includes the Miller Activity Complex (MAC), Millhouse, Amphitheater, Challenge Hill, Ziplines, Adventure Tower, Sky Trek, and adventure playground area as well as over ten miles of hiking and biking trails.
Each day of camp brings a new and exciting adventure for our campers, as no two days with the Great Outdoors Camp are exactly alike.
Tweens & teens will experience outdoor adventures challenging them to try something new while growing outside their comfort zone. Nothing builds self-confidence like mastering new and challenging activities!
Counselors will educate the campers about the beauty and power of the great outdoors while encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle.
The day will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities including the following:
- Adventure Tower
- Sky Trek
- Challenge Hill
- Mountain Biking
- Daily Swimming
Camps run weekly starting June 6 from 8:30 AM–4:30 PM at the MAC. The cost is $310 per week for residents ($355 non-residents).
