Central Park is a neat little park with two main features: an amphitheater for small outdoor concerts and a 150-foot orange sculpture that looms above.

County officials have described the shape of the sculpture as "chopsticks." It doubles as a communication tower for the Sheriff's Department. The tower boosts radio communication throughout Douglas County, helping law enforcement respond to critical situations.

A large portion of the park is covered in soft grass. There are hills that are wonderful for rolling down and large open spaces that are great for playing frisbee, tag, or catch with friends, including furry ones! Several tall poles in the grassy areas were designed to hold slacklines (bring your own).

A fun hedge maze is modeled after the Hampton Court Maze, one of the most famous mazes in the world, created in 1695 for William III of Orange in Hampton Court Palace in London, England.

The recently renovated patio has beautiful wooden tables, sturdy stone table tennis, cornhole boards, and Adirondack chairs.
