Therapeutic Recreation summer camp is the place to be!
Sign up for one week or several weeks at the Town of Castle Rock's TR summer camp experience for kids and teens with differing abilities. Campers will enjoy traditional and unique camp activities focused on creativity, adventure, movement, and possibility based on weekly themes.
Activities promote skill development and growth related to self-esteem, socialization, independence, and overall wellness in a fun, positive, and respectful environment!
Inclusive RockRec
RockRec offers a unique balance of a traditional day camp experience in the beautiful 300-acre Philip S. Miller Park. With outstanding amenities, exciting programming, and energetic counselors, this structured and fun day camp will be the perfect place for your child.
Inclusive RockRec allows campers to be with their peers, and everyone can learn and have amazing experiences together. Standard camp staff will be supplemented with well-trained therapeutic staff so your child will still receive the support and attention they may need.
- Camps run Monday through Friday from June 10 through July 26 (no camp the week of July 1-5).
- 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
- Ages 5-15
Therapeutic Rec Summer Camp
Castle Rock's TR program offers two different opportunities for older individuals with differing abilities.
Field Trip Camp offers various adventures, such as attending a baseball game, hiking, picnics, and other activities!
During the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) summer camp, athletes will explore the Front Range through a variety of outdoor recreation experiences, including Archery, Canoeing, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, and Outdoor Rock Climbing.
- Field Trip camp is June 17-21 from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.
- NCSD camp is July 15-19 from 8:30 AM–2:00 PM.
- Ages 12 years and up.
