Gelato & Co. brings the best of authentic Italian dessert cafés to Highlands Ranch, offering house-made gelato and pastries, espresso, and more in a warm and cozy atmosphere.
Born from a dream shared by the whole Barsness family — Susan and Dean, along with their kids, Jonathan and Sarah — the story started with the family's passion for Italian culture and cuisine which stems from their Italian origins.
Susan's father, Hugo, was born in Barga, a Tuscan hilltop town outside Lucca. After a lifetime of experiencing all small-town Italy has to offer, the family wanted to bring the Italian dessert café experience to Denver.

Joined by executive chef Mariana Ramirez, who brings ten years of experience as the pastry and dessert supervisor at the Colorado Convention Center, Gelato & Co. hopes to continue to "wow" the community with a rotating menu of top-notch desserts.
We make our gelato with the very best, real ingredients in their raw and most natural form. Everything is made from scratch. GMOs and "ready-made" ingredients such as colorings, flavorings, preservatives, and pastes have no place at Gelato & Co.
